OUR FOUNDER’S STORY
Compassion has been the heartbeat of my life from the very beginning. As a little girl of about five, I once asked my late father not to drive me to church so that he could give elderly people a lift instead. I told him that when I grew up and owned a car, I would dedicate it to helping the aged and vulnerable in our community. He would smile and say, “The Lord will grant your heart’s desires.”
My childhood was marked by both extraordinary challenges and blessings. I was born prematurely in 1981, at just 29 weeks, after my mother endured continuous bleeding from the fifth week of pregnancy. With no incubator available in the small local hospital, my parents wrapped me in cloth, placed me in a wooden box, and kept me warm with glowing coals placed under the bed. Against all odds, I survived—a living testimony of God’s mercy.
Even as a child, I felt a deep connection to the elderly and the less privileged. I would approach elderly women in the community market, give them the few coins I received from family members, and ask them to pray for my mother to be blessed with another child. By the time I was seven, those prayers were answered with the birth of my younger brother.
That passion only grew stronger with time. As a university student in Ayingba, Kogi State, I once used my entire school fees to enroll three children I saw picking scraps from a dustbin into secondary school. Though my father and brother were upset at first, they later paid my fees again, realizing that compassion had taken root in me for life.
In 2016, that lifelong calling gave birth to Thoughtful Touch Foundation, a platform dedicated to extending love, hope, and dignity to those in need. What began as small acts of kindness has now grown into impactful initiatives such as:
- Sponsoring 57 children across 11 states in Nigeria in government nursery, primary, and secondary schools.
- Offering scholarships to orphans in tertiary institutions.
- Reconstructing a home for a vulnerable widow in Kogi State.
- Providing food, medicines, and covering hospital bills for struggling families.
- Visiting prisons with snacks and toiletries.
- Empowering widows and people living with disabilities to start small businesses.
Our journey is just beginning. With God’s help, and the support of kind-hearted partners, we are working toward building orphanage homes and schools—safe havens where love, learning, and hope will flourish.
My story is proof that compassion, no matter how small, can grow into a movement of change. Thoughtful Touch Foundation exists to remind the world that humanity is strongest when we care for the weakest among us.

We actively work to enroll and retain out-of-school children in formal education. We provide school fees, essential school supplies like bags and uniforms, and academic support to ensure they can not only attend but also succeed.
Food Security and Nutrition
Through direct feeding programs, food distribution, and support for community-based agriculture, we combat malnutrition and food insecurity. We strive to give families the security of a daily meal so they can focus on building a better life.
Poverty Alleviation and Livelihoods
Our mission is to empower individuals and families to break the cycle of poverty. We provide vocational training, small business grants, and mentorship to widows and persons with disabilities, enabling them to achieve financial independence and live with dignity.
